Parents’ Satisfaction with the Kindergarten

Satisfaction Surveys

In spring 2024, the Estonian Education and Youth Board, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Research, conducted national early childhood education satisfaction surveys.

A total of 498 kindergartens participated in the survey. In the teachers’ survey, 7,409 teachers responded, and in the parents’ survey, 19,021 responses were received. A total of 77 parents from Tartu Lotte Kindergarten also participated in the survey. We sincerely thank them for their recognition and feedback!

Satisfaction with the Kindergarten

Based on parents’ feedback, Tartu Lotte Kindergarten is a trustworthy, child-friendly, and supportive kindergarten that values children’s well-being, development, and strong cooperation with families.

The survey results show that parents highly appreciate the kindergarten’s reputation, children’s relationships with teachers, the child’s well-being in kindergarten, suitable learning and play materials, and the caring attitude of teachers.

Summary of Results

Children feel good in kindergarten, they have friends among their peers, and they maintain positive relationships with their teachers. According to parents, the kindergarten supports children’s independence, self-confidence, learning interest, and social skills.

The kindergarten’s learning materials, opportunities for physical activity, opening hours, and communication between home and kindergarten are also viewed positively.
