About Us

Our kindergarden Our kindergarten is like a beautiful flower with six petals. We enter the flower through the spaces between the petals. Inside, there are no long corridors or empty spaces. Instead, the heart of the flower is a hall and play corridor where children can happily run around and play.

The interior designers of our kindergarten chose four beautiful words: CHILD, GARDEN, DAY, HOME. Using these words, they created a wonderful place for children to play during the day. The grass in the garden is green, and the indoor floors are the colour of young birch leaves.

The hall s quite different from the rest of the kindergarten. Its floor is much lower than the corridor floor. The hall is like a valley, with light shining down from above like the sun. Down in the valley, it is fun to jump, run, and slide when the weather outside is gloomy and rainy.

The play corridor is like a cosy courtyard at grandmother’s country home, where children can invent their own games or simply relax. In our “courtyard,” you can find a puddle and a small stream, little bushes and grassy mounds, hollows, mossy surfaces, a climbing tree, and a small cellar hill. There is also a lovely fence through which children can peek down into the valley. The children themselves imagine castles and fortresses… or race around again and again on foot-powered cars and hobby horses.

Like children themselves, our group rooms each have their own character. From some rooms, children can watch the lively activities in the play corridor, while from others they can look through colourful triangular windows to see what is happening outside. When the beds are moved together, extra space is created in the sleeping room for play and activities. Our rooms are friendly and simple. Everything is arranged so that the focus remains on activities and experiences rather than on objects themselves.

In addition to the group rooms and play corridor, children have the opportunity to spend time in the creativity roomwith its large terrace, enjoy music activities in the small music class, called the Music Pavilion, and learn in the multimedia room. The old and the new come together in our kindergarten’s traditional farmhouse room..

Delicious meals are prepared in the kindergarten kitchen, , next to which is a shared dining room. In the dining room, children also have the opportunity to try food preparation in a small mini kitchen.

Our outdoor area features two large hills. Around one hill runs a tartan-covered cycling and running track, while around the other winds a hiking path made of paving stones. The rowan trees, poplars, chestnut trees, apple trees, and spruce trees planted in the yard are still young and small — just like our children.
